Sustainability Risk Management
Our Risk Management Committee (RMC) was established as a Board Committee. Our Board is primarily responsible for supervising the overall enterprise risk management practices within the Group. They assure that the risk management framework is sufficiently robust and sound. Our Enterprise Risk Management was initiated to adopt best practices in risk management and comply with the ISO 31000 risk management standard and the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance 2017.
RMC meetings are conducted quarterly with the risk management working group. The sustainability scope of the review covers the risk identification, analysis, assessment, evaluation, treatment and monitoring of EESG risk registers that are applicable to our business operations. The review also includes regulatory and standards compliance assessments for Quality ISO 9001:2015, Environment 14001:2015 and Health and Safety ISO 15001, the results of which are presented at the RMC meetings and discussed during the annual management meeting.
FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index
Our efforts to be a responsible and sustainable organisation have enabled us to be included as a constituent in the FTSE4Good Bursa Malaysia Index, which measures the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices.
